We are excited to share that our very own Andy Warden presented at the Aerospace Technology Institute’s Aerospace Innovation Showcase for Manufacturing Automation & Robotics.
Andy’s presentation highlighted our collaboration with LISI Aerospace and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) at Sheffield University in developing a state-of-the-art smart factory. We are currently in stage 2 of our partnership, stage 1 included the installation of three e-tech machines: Turning and Rolling Grooving machine (TRG-X2), Fillet Rolling Machine (FR-V5) and Drilling & Broaching Machine (ADB-S2). Due to the success, in stage 2, we will be supplying 2 more grooving machines, one more fillet rolling machine and two more drill & broaching machines.
The smart machines use smart sensors to capture and transmit real-time data via MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) to LISI. AMRC provides technical expertise to monitor, analyse, and store this data centrally. The integration of these advanced technologies significantly enhances efficiency and productivity.
A huge congratulations to Andy for a successful presentation and for expertly showcasing the work we are doing at e-tech.
